FKM and FPM are fluoroelastomer designations used in different naming systems. Viton is a Chemours fluoroelastomer brand, not the name for the entire group, so not every FKM or FPM material is Viton. When selecting a seal, the specific compound, chemical resistance, operating temperature and application requirements must be checked. The name FKM, FPM or Viton alone does not describe all material properties.
The operating range depends on the specific FKM grade and compound, the medium and the conditions of use. Selection requires the project requirements and the current technical data sheet for the selected material.
Fluoroelastomer-based products are resistant to oils, glycols and fuels. Compatibility with a specific medium and temperature must be confirmed for the selected compound.

Using a bottle sample and components from the old line, its engineer prepared the design and documentation for new change parts in SolidWorks. For a quotation, send a PDF or DXF drawing or a STEP model with dimensions. State the material, the number of pieces and the quality requirements. A photograph of the part alone, without dimensions, does not allow a reliable quotation to be prepared.
