We machine food-industry machine components from PP approved for direct food contact. Suitable polypropylene grades are used in production lines and packaging machinery.
Pool components and electroplating-bath components can be made from polypropylene to customer-supplied documentation. ANBI-TECH does not design or weld such structures.

Polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight, chemically resistant thermoplastic used in many industries thanks to excellent weldability and easy machinability. It has the lowest density among widely used polymers while retaining high mechanical strength. At ANBI-TECH, we cut and machine PP on CNC centres – making components for tanks to customer-supplied documentation, pipeline components, seals, filter plates and food-machinery components. ANBI-TECH does not design or weld tanks.
Polypropylene is available in different grades and commercial forms, and material selection depends on project requirements.
Polypropylene has the lowest density among widely used polymers, high mechanical strength and high tensile strength. At room temperature it is almost completely resistant to acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents. Polypropylene grades approved for direct food contact are available.

Polypropylene has two limitations important for material selection: it is impact-sensitive and performs poorly under dynamic loads at sub-zero temperatures. It also has high thermal expansion, which must be considered in fits. Its strengths are very good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption and low density, so suitability depends on the application rather than a general assessment of the material.
Yes. Polypropylene, abbreviated PP, is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic from the polyolefin group, produced by polymerising propylene. Polyethylene belongs to the same family, and polyolefins are among the most widely used plastics. When ordering a part, however, the specific material grade matters rather than the group name alone.
No. Polyesters are polymers whose main chain contains ester bonds. Polypropylene is produced by polymerising propylene and belongs to polyolefins, a different group of plastics. If documentation requires polyester, a material other than PP is needed, so this is worth confirming before ordering a part.
Both belong to polyolefins and both are semi-crystalline thermoplastics, but their mechanical behaviour differs. Polyethylene has high resistance to dynamic loads, with lower mechanical strength and lower high-temperature resistance. Polypropylene is more impact-sensitive and less suitable for dynamic loads at sub-zero temperatures, but has very good chemical resistance.

Using a bottle sample and components from the old line, its engineer prepared the design and documentation for new change parts in SolidWorks. For a quotation, send a PDF or DXF drawing or a STEP model with dimensions. State the material, the number of pieces and the quality requirements. A photograph of the part alone, without dimensions, does not allow a reliable quotation to be prepared.
