We offer PMMA as 1-50 mm thick sheets and Plexi as sheets up to 3000×2000 mm. Brands: Plexiglas (Röhm), Acrylite (Röhm), Lucite (Mitsubishi Chemical), Altuglas (Trinseo).

Holes in Plexi components are technically feasible, and the feasibility of a specific order is confirmed during quotation. Cutting acrylic requires the right tool geometry and stable feed parameters because the cutting edge should scrape the plastic, which helps limit stress and edge chipping. We supply custom-made parts to the customer’s technical documentation.
This is one of several differences between the plastics, including resistance to dynamic loads and surface hardness. According to Covestro manufacturer data, polycarbonate is impact-resistant even at low temperatures. In tests by Polyvantis, PLEXIGLAS sheets achieved 5H pencil hardness compared with HB for the polycarbonate tested, indicating greater surface scratch resistance. Material selection therefore depends on the design requirements of the finished part.
Yes, PMMA is sometimes used in machine guards, especially as transparent viewing panels and inspection windows. With appropriate enclosure design, it can protect against dust or liquid splashes. Its high transparency helps visual inspection of equipment operation. Where a guard will be subject to strong dynamic loads, however, a plastic with confirmed impact resistance, such as a suitable polycarbonate, is recommended. The final choice depends on material thickness and the hazards at the particular workstation.

We had a very good experience working with Anbi-Tech on a new production line project for a bottling plant. Using a bottle sample and components from the old line, its engineer prepared the design and documentation for new change parts in SolidWorks. For a quotation, send a PDF or DXF drawing or a STEP model with dimensions. State the material, the number of pieces and the quality requirements. A photograph of the part alone, without dimensions, does not allow a reliable quotation to be prepared.
